Does Orange Lake Buy Back Timeshares

Timeshare Exit Team, the leading timeshare exit company in the U.S., has successfully assisted more than 20,000 people in getting out of their timeshares since its founding in 2012, despite pushback from an industry that brought in more than $10 billion last year. In the face of desperate spin and frivolous legal action from leading developers, Timeshare Exit Team has continued to live up to its promise of ethically and transparently helping consumers who have felt tricked and trapped by an industry that is largely and dangerously unregulated.

Again, trying to work things out with Orange Lake will be akin to negotiating the cessation of nuclear proliferation with Kim Jong Un. The sole purpose of Orange Lake is to make money by selling timeshare - not accepting timeshares back into their portfolio, which ultimately hurt profits. Another primary consideration before attempting to go this route is that if you are unsuccessful in your negotiations, it will be nearly impossible for any other entity to assist you in canceling your timeshare.

Orange Lake Resort does not have an in-house resale program, so they cannot help you sell if you decided to go directly to them. They have a program called Horizons but that is geared for those who just want to give back their ownership with nothing in return.

With Walt Disney World Resort, the Universal Orlando Resort, Sea World, and other theme parks, Orlando is one of the hottest family vacation spots in Florida. With so many attractions pulling in tourists, the number of timeshare units also shoots up, just as it does in Las Vegas or Hawaii. And where you find timeshares, trouble is never far behind.

Of course, there are other alternatives for owners who no longer wish to own. RedWeek.com has built a large network of owners who trust the platform to rent or sell their timeshares. The company focuses on helping owners monetize their asset if they can no longer use it, rather than simply surrendering it. For those unable to sell, RedWeek recommends owners contact their HOA to see if they offer resale or buyback programs.

Hopefully this will shine more light on the timeshare industry and persuade more companies to buy back or at least let owners surrender their units when they no longer want or can use them. I stayed at one of the resorts listed in the top 25 in RedWeek this past weekend and wanted to tell everyone I saw on tours to please check RedWeek or Ebay or any other place listing timeshares for sale to get an idea of the fair market value before buying at a greatly inflated price from the developer. If these units are worth anywhere near what the developer is selling at you would think they would be very eager to take your place off your hands and resell it again.

Can you sell a timeshare? This guide will walk you through the steps you need to take to sell your timeshare ownership. We'll also look at how to sell it back to the resort and a few alternative selling methods if that doesn't work.

There's a high chance your timeshare agreement doesn't have a deed-back clause, or you may not qualify for your resort's buyback program. When that's the case, it's still worth reaching out to resort management to see if any options are available to you.

"Where do I start? Bought 2 timeshares and was told if we ever wanted to sell on that Orange Lake would have first option to buy them back. Unfortunately NOBODY wants to buy them back. Would that be mis-sold? Because I bought mine as an investment. Only thing they forgot to tell me was, THEY WERE NOT AN INVESTMENT, because while everything connected to time shares have went up in price, our wages have gone down... The family have grown up, and the wife and I are left with a costly yearly maintenance. I think RCI need to change their strategy and look at the real world. I could go on..." 041b061a72
